With the onset of cold weather, each person quickly opens the closet and begins to take out winter things. But this is bad luck, the cap from the arctic fox looks dirty and dull, there is no desire to wear such a thing, since the unpainted fur of the arctic fox has a light shade, which means that it is quite easily soiled. You can clean the fur hat at home without resorting to dry cleaning, especially since there are many interesting and not so complicated methods for this.

You will need

  • - oat bran or sawdust, brush;

  • - refined gasoline, potato starch, stiff brush;

  • - table vinegar, alcohol, purified water, sponge;

  • - water, hydrogen peroxide, ammonia.

Instruction manual

1

In order to clean the cap from natural fox fur, you will need oat bran or the simplest sawdust. One of these means is to fill the fur product and gently rub it with a brush or hands until you reach the effect you need. After that, gently shake the hat to get rid of the bran, and eventually clean it with a vacuum cleaner (put on a small nozzle first). It remains only to comb the fur in the direction of growth of the pile.

2

Put the hat on a three-liter jar, which you first need to wrap with a towel so that the hat does not slip. In a small bowl, dilute 1/4 cup of refined gasoline and potato starch, the consistency of gruel should be obtained. Coat the entire cap with the resulting composition, gently rubbing it into the fur. After that, let it dry for 10-20 minutes. Already dried starch must be removed using a special stiff brush or by shaking the fur hat. If the fur is not clean enough, repeat the procedure again. Since gasoline has the ability to evaporate quickly, it is not necessary to breed it immediately in large quantities, it is better to do this several times in small portions.

3

Mix the following ingredients in equal amounts: alcohol, table vinegar and purified water. Apply this mixture with a brush or a soft sponge to the cap of the fox, gently rub. This tool does not require rinsing, as it has the ability to evaporate quickly.

4

Take a glass of warm water and add one teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide, mix thoroughly. Add a few drops of ammonia to this mixture. Apply the resulting solution with a cotton swab or sponge on the fox fur, moving in the direction of pile growth. After that, take the cap to a well-ventilated place and leave it for several hours. It remains only to comb the fur product, your hat again, like new.
