An emerald ring can be cleaned with shampoo or dishwashing liquid. Pour warm water into the container and add a little detergent. Immerse the decoration in the solution for several minutes. Take an old toothbrush and gently brush the ring. Then rinse with warm running water and polish with a flannel or suede cloth.

Emeralds treated with natural resin or special oils cannot be cleaned with aggressive agents. Therefore, always remove the rings before contact with chemicals. Also, do not clean the emeralds with ultrasound. After a similar procedure, the stones lose their luster.

Take a teaspoon of baking soda and stir with water to make a soft paste. Apply a little to the toothbrush and brush the decoration.

Take wine vinegar and pour it into a plastic dish. Immerse the ring in liquid and leave for 5-10 minutes. After this time, remove the jewelry and clean with a sponge or soft cloth. Rinse thoroughly under running water. Close the drain hole so that the jewelry does not accidentally fall into it. At the end of cleaning, polish the ring.

You can restore the luster and purity of the decoration with medical alcohol. Dampen a cotton swab in a solvent and gently wipe the surface of the product. If the ring is very dirty, soak it in alcohol for 15-20 minutes. Then rinse in warm water and wipe with a soft cloth.
