Instruction manual

1

In order for the sheepskin coat to retain its original appearance for as long as possible, it is necessary to carefully care for it. First of all, it is necessary to periodically clean it with a brush from a natural material, for example, rubber. Take care of the product and make sure that during storage the direct sunlight does not fall on the sheepskin coat, that it is kept as little as possible under bright electric lighting and in no case should it be hung near fireplaces and heating devices. Dry the wet sheepskin coat on broad shoulders in a ventilated area, away from the heat source.

2

To get rid of a greasy stain on a sheepskin coat - sprinkle the contaminated area with semolina or talcum powder. These substances absorb liquid and fat well. But note that this method is only suitable for fresh spots. And in no case do not sprinkle greasy stains with salt, as you do with ordinary fabrics. Salt will inevitably ruin the skin.

3

Some spots are cleaned with an eraser. Take a regular school eraser and rub a lightly soiled area. After that, carefully shake off the sheepskin coat and brush it.

4

Some old stains are cleaned with gasoline. Take a cotton pad, moisten it with a little gasoline and wipe the stain thoroughly. Just be sure to first test on a small piece from the inside, because sometimes there is such a patch of skin that does not tolerate the effects of gasoline. After cleaning, ventilate the item well so that all gasoline vapors disappear.

5

Clean greasy spots on the tops of the sleeves, pockets and collar with a stiff brush, dampening it in a solution of tooth powder and ammonia. After drying, carefully remove the rest of the mixture.

6

It is better to clean the new black sheepskin coat with special tools. Go shopping for leather and consult sellers about which product is best for your sheepskin coat.

7

It happens that on the sheepskin coat separate parts fade. Take a special paint and, strictly following the instructions, tint these areas.

8

But you can’t wash a sheepskin coat, even using the most delicate means. From washing, the skin will become brittle, it will warp, the thing can get significant shrinkage and you just have to throw it away.
