Stains of dried blood, especially on light dense tissues, are a rather big problem when washing. However, using some quite affordable means, you can deal with this problem.

Soak the stained cloth in cold water. To wash such spots hot water is not recommended. When the stain gets wet, rinse the cloth and change the water. For dark things, this may be enough.

To remove dried blood stains, you can try to soak the tissue in a solution of sodium chloride. To do this, dissolve a tablespoon of salt in a liter of water and leave the stained tissue in this solution for twelve hours. After soaking, wash the contaminated area with soap and water in room temperature water.

You can try to cope with the stain with hydrogen peroxide. To do this, drip a three percent solution of hydrogen peroxide on contaminated tissue. After five minutes, rinse the solution and wash the soiled thing, pouring detergent on the stain. In order not to damage the color of the fabric, removing the stain in this way, check the effect of hydrogen peroxide on the inconspicuous area of the fabric.

Dried blood from light tissues can be removed by soaking the soiled thing in a solution of soda ash. To do this, stir fifty grams of soda in a liter of water and soak the contaminated tissue in this solution for ten hours. After soaking, rinse the item and stretch it with bleach.

Potato starch will help remove dried stains from silk. Make gruel from cold water and starch, put it on a contaminated area of the fabric and wait for the starch to dry. Remove starch and rinse the cloth in soapy water and then in a solution of a teaspoon of table vinegar per liter of water.

You can remove the stain from the wool with ammonia. To do this, check the effect of ammonia on the tissue in some not very noticeable area, then wipe the contaminated area with a swab, soaking it in a three percent solution of ammonia. Rinse the treated item in room temperature water.
