One of the best known ways to get rid of iodine stains is to use starch. Sprinkle them abundantly with a stain dipped in cold water. As a result of these actions, a chemical reaction should occur, since iodine is an indicator of starch. When the stain turns blue, rinse it with cold water, and then wash with the addition of stain remover.

Instead of starch, you can use raw potatoes. Take one tuber, peel it, cut it in half and rub the contaminated area on both the front and back sides with both halves. After the stain turns blue, rinse the product thoroughly in cold water and wash with a small amount of stain remover.

Soak the stain in milk for 10-15 minutes, then wash it several times with cool water and soap, and then wash it in a machine, preferably with the addition of a stain remover.

You can get rid of iodine stains with baking soda and vinegar, if the soiled clothes are not made of acetate, triacetate fibers or nylon. Otherwise, the thing will be hopelessly damaged. Sprinkle a soda stain on top, pour vinegar on top of it. After a few hours (at least four), rinse the product thoroughly in cool water, then wash in the usual way.

Acetone will help remove the stain from the dyed fabric, but only if the product is not made of acetate silk. Before using acetone, check the reaction of the tissue on the spare. Then, moisten a cotton pad with acetone and gently rub it with the contaminated place, after which the clothes will need to be washed.
Useful advice
Fresh stain from iodine is easier to remove than what was noticed after a few hours. To remove the old yellow-brown spots, any of the above methods will have to be repeated several times.
