Instruction manual

1

If the machine manifold is dirty, clean it. Signs of a malfunction are the appearance of sparking during the operation of the grinder, substantial heating of the case, popping sounds at startup, accompanied by the smell of burning.

2

Disassemble the tool and detach the engine armature. To do this, remove the fasteners, remove the brushes, remove the gearbox. Remove the free anchor from the housing by the gear. At the end of the anchor, which is located closer to the cord, there is a rolling bearing recessed in the housing, so it is necessary to pull the anchor when dismantling it, carefully, without excessive force.

3

Wipe the vacant anchor thoroughly with a clean cloth, paying particular attention to the inter-turn space. Clean the rear end of the armature, called the collector, as well as the gear that transmits rotation from dirt. If the collector has irreparable burn marks, replace it with a working one.

4

If the grinder does not turn on when you press the start button, first check for mains voltage. If there is voltage, look for the cause of the malfunction in the power cable by ringing it with the tester. If a wire break is detected, remove the defective part and spliced the ends.

5

Check the operation of the start button. Make sure that the circuit breaker contacts are working and free from contamination. Clean contact surfaces. If they are damaged or broken, replace the button on the device.

6

If there is a mechanical sound accompanying the rotation of the working disk, check the gearbox of the machine. This mechanical assembly transmits rotation with a change in rotation speed and power and often fails with prolonged use of the tool without any preventive maintenance.

7

Disassemble the gearbox, if necessary replace the failed gear. Before assembling the unit, lubricate the parts with solid oil, lithol or other anti-friction grease. After assembly, let the grinder idle for several minutes without load.
