Before you begin, get the right tool. Natural wood furniture with a matte polished surface is recommended to be treated with special furniture wax. On sale there are tinted products that can refresh the color of the tree. Antique furniture is best polished with natural beeswax without dyes. Veneered and varnished surfaces are treated with an oil-based liquid polish.

Wipe the surface from dust. If a stain is found on it, wipe it off. White circles from wet glasses are removed with a swab dipped in a mixture of oil and cologne. In the same way, you can remove the strokes from a pen or pencil. The surface to be treated must be dry.

When working with natural wood, select furniture wax to match the surface color. It should not only give shine, but also lightly tint the furniture, refreshing its color. Put a little funds on a soft cloth and rub it into the tree with soft circular movements. Start with large surfaces, last machining threads, tabs, drawers and shelves. Do not take too much money, otherwise the wax will fall unevenly and form dull spots on the furniture surface.

Antique dressers and sideboards can be polished with natural beeswax. Heat it in a water bath and apply it with a wide brush to the surface. Rub the product with a soft cloth until completely absorbed and polish the tree to a shine.

Modern furniture with a smooth surface of natural veneer can be treated with industrial liquid oil-based polishes. Spray the product from a spray can or apply it with a cotton swab on a surface previously cleaned of dust. Be careful with the glasses - polish is poorly laundered from them. Rub the product with a soft cloth and polish until completely absorbed.

Industrial liquid polish can be replaced with a simple home recipe. Mix half a liter of drying oil with a quarter liter of turpentine. Pour the mixture into a tightly screwed container. Put it on furniture with a cotton swab and rub it with a dry woolen cloth to shine.
