If in your case a greasy spot has formed on the painted door, then it will not be difficult to remove it. Moisten a cotton pad in table vinegar and carefully treat the stain, wait until the vinegar is completely absorbed. If the stain has just appeared, wash the door with warm water and liquid soap or dishwashing liquid. It remains only to wipe with a clean, damp cloth and wipe dry.

The easiest way to get rid of grease stains from the metal surface of the door. To do this, you should use ordinary acetone or "White Alcohol", which is sold in a hardware or hardware store. A metal door can be washed with almost any cleaning agent containing abrasive or chemical substances.

Undoubtedly, greasy spots noticeably spoil the appearance of the doors. But even if your door is not painted, they can be eliminated with the following composition: mix table vinegar and ordinary clay in equal proportions. Rub the mixture thoroughly until a smooth, homogeneous liquid is formed. Apply the prepared composition to the spot and leave it to dry completely. It remains only to wash off the vinegar-clay composition with warm water.

To remove a greasy stain from a polished wooden door, treat its surface with talc. Also, a normal raw potato copes well with this task, which must be thoroughly washed and cut into two halves. Rub one spot with one part, and after a while wipe with a damp cloth. If small stains remain on the surface of the polished door, apply flour to them and remove it with a piece of cloth.
