A stove not washed for several days (or even weeks) is a real nightmare for the hostess. Burnt food debris, caked fat - all this must be removed, and if the process is not properly approached, it can turn out to be long and laborious.

Instruction manual
1
Set the switches to the zero position and unplug the electric stove. Most models have removable switches - remove them and put them in a container with a warm solution of soap or dishwashing detergent, let them “soak” and clean them with a sponge or dishwashing brush.
2
Moisten the surface of the stove and burners with a sponge dampened with plenty of warm water or soapy water and let stand for 5-10 minutes, then remove the soaked food residues with a sponge or wooden spatula. A wire washcloth can also be used to clean burners.
3
Wear rubber gloves and apply a non-abrasive detergent to the damp surface of the stove. It can be a liquid or gel for cleaning plates (they are produced by various manufacturers) or another tool marked "For the kitchen" - they usually do well with fat deposits. If you are not a supporter of the use of "strong" chemistry - you can use diluted dishwashing liquid or a solution of laundry soap to clean the stove. Similarly, process the front panel of the plate.
4
Wait 10-15 minutes for the body fat to soften. Make sure that the surface of the plate remains wet - otherwise cleaning will have to start again.
5
Wipe the stove properly with a damp cloth or sponge, remove any dirt, and rinse with clean water. If spots remain near the burners, apply detergent to contaminated places again and repeat the procedure.
6
If the support ring with which the burner is attached to the stove turns yellow - do not try to return it to its original color. This is the reaction of a metal to high temperature and is irreversible.
note
Do not use metal sponges, sandpaper, or abrasive detergents to clean electric stoves — they can damage the surface of the stove.
Useful advice
It is better to clean the electric stove daily or at least once every two days - in this case the food remains will not have time to burn. It is enough to wipe the surface with a damp sponge with a drop of dishwashing detergent or sprinkle it with a glass cleaner, then rinse off the substance and wipe it dry.
