Mistresses using a multicooker for cooking probably faced this problem. Do not wash fat with conventional means. I suggest a simple, safe and effective way.

You will need

  • Bar of laundry soap

  • Rag

  • Sponge for washing dishes

  • Small basin with warm water

  • A slow cooker disconnected from the network (ideally, pull the wire out of the case)

Instruction manual

1

Take everything you need. Gently soap the sponge and start rubbing into the lid. This must be done carefully so that water does not get on the inside of the multicooker.

2

When the grease begins to lag behind the lid, take a cloth and start rinsing. If necessary, you can repeat the procedure.

3

If the lid has rubber parts that have accumulated fat, use cotton swabs and toothpicks to remove it. When you wash the cover of your slow cooker, proceed to washing the case.

note

This method eliminates fat, but does not remove the unpleasant odor.

Do not be afraid that the laundry soap is not completely washed off the lid - it is hypoallergenic and environmentally friendly.

Remember to dry the crock-pot thoroughly after washing before using it again.

Useful advice

In order not to bring to a critical situation, wash the crock-pot after each preparation.

I do not recommend preparing tomato soups and other dishes with a lot of tomato paste in it, white plastic instantly absorbs redness, it becomes difficult to wash it.

It is advisable not to fry fatty foods in a slow cooker.
