Pay attention to the color of the fur and skins. A sheepskin cannot be blindingly white. If the fur and skin have a pleasant cream shade, then in front of you, most likely, is not a fake. You should be alerted if the product is brightly creamy or even peachy. But it is difficult to judge by this parameter alone.

Smell a fur product. If it has a suspicious synthetic smell or a pronounced aroma of a dye, then the sheepskin is fake. When buying dyed fur products, this verification method is considered unreliable. But if the thing was correctly processed, then even after coloring the subtle smell of a natural sheepskin remains.

Pull the skin in different directions around any seam. If it is a natural sheepskin, then the seam will be invisible through the fur, as the skin is not stretched. Synthetic materials are less dense and if you pull them, you will notice the threads.

Synthetic fakes can be distinguished from the original if you try to separate the fur and the skin. If they are disconnected, then this is ordinary material on which the fur is glued. When bending the sheepskin, neither glue nor any materials should be visible. It is impossible to separate the fur from the skin.

If you have already bought a fur product, but vague doubts about its authenticity torment you, then you can find out as a result of socks. In a natural sheepskin it is not hot, but at the same time it is not cold. In synthetics, a person begins to sweat constantly and feel discomfort.

Buy these products only in large stores with a good reputation. Of course, in them the price can be an order of magnitude higher, but the chances of acquiring a fake are also significantly reduced. If you have never previously bought things from a sheepskin, then before making a purchase, go to various stores to compare how real products look.
