Enamel pans often turn yellow inside over time. Of course, this is not scary and you can continue to cook in them. But if you like perfect cleanliness and whiteness, use one of the remedies below.

You will need

  • - bleach;

  • - peel from apples and pears;

  • - baking soda;

  • - onion;

  • - dishwashing liquid;

  • - soap, soda ash and silicate glue.

Instruction manual

1

Boil a pot with bleach, for example with the popular chlorine-containing "White." At the same time bleach any towel or linen that needs washing. To clean the pot not only inside but also outside, put it in some even larger dish and do the same.

2

Clean the teapots and pans that have darkened from the inside by boiling the peels and apples in them. There is another gentle (non-chemical) method - baking soda, which helps a lot in many cases. However, a stronger effect may be required, then pour soda into the pan, pour water and leave for a while, then boil for a longer time over low heat. Rinse the dishes. If you want, use soda and salt at the same time. To enhance the effect, leave the pan to soak for several hours or at night after boiling.

3

Boil pots with whole peeled onions - this is a natural way to clean browning and burnout. But if the dishes burned strongly, this method may not help to the end. Try adding vinegar as well, but only if the pan is aluminum or cast iron, otherwise vinegar can ruin the enamel.

4

Do not clean aluminum utensils with aggressive agents, in particular those containing acids. Dilute in water in a large bowl of laundry soap, soda ash and a little liquid glass from a building materials store. Place an aluminum pan in this solution and simmer over low heat. Not only yellowness and darkening, but also fat leaves, the burnt areas are cleared. This method can be used for enameled products, and for pans. The proportions depend on the volume of water used and the amount of dishes that you are going to clean. On average, for 4-5 liters of water, take one laundry soap (grate it), 2-3 cups of soda ash and 1-2 tubes of silicate glue (the same as clerical glue or liquid glass). Focus on the degree of contamination.

5

Boil the pan in a dishwashing detergent solution (pour more, not a few drops, as for washing dishes). Then use a cloth or sponge to remove contamination. Dishwashing detergents are now very popular, they are used for different purposes, because they dissolve pollution well. But they are not harmless, so rinse the pan thoroughly at the end.

note

Do not use abrasive powders, hard brushes and washcloths to avoid scratches and damage to dishes.
