You will need

  • - microfiber cloth;

  • - means for washing plumbing;

  • - plastic tab-grille;

  • - soda;

  • - ammonia;

  • - washing powder;

  • - plunger;

  • - laundry soap.

Instruction manual

1

Cover the drain hole in the sink with a plastic grill insert to prevent clogging. When the appliance becomes dirty, it is easy to remove and wash. Take washing powder or soda ash, mix thoroughly in very hot water and drain into the hole, so you can degrease the drain in the kitchen sink.

2

Clean the sinks once a week with a plunger, which is a rubber piston on the handle. It can also be used to clean the drain holes in the bathroom.

3

Use plumbing cleaners that are commercially available. Do not clean kitchen sinks and bathtubs with liquid solutions designed to clean the toilets, as they contain hydrochloric acid, which destroys the enamel layer.

4

Please note that tools designed to remove rust are not recommended for continuous use, as they can cause the destruction of the enamel layer on the surface. And for washing toilets and sinks made of ceramics, they can be used regularly. For these structures, hydrochloric and oxalic acids are harmless.

5

Take a rag or nylon sponge and rub them with laundry soap or laundry detergent. Clean the bath if it is very dirty, you can add a few drops of ammonia. As a disinfection, you can use a solution of 3% boric acid or potassium permanganate. The procedure is performed in an already washed bath, then it should be rinsed with clean water.

6

Follow the rules for using the bathroom. It will be clean if you do not pour very cold or very hot water, but only warm so that the walls have time to warm up slightly. Cracks or yellow deposits may appear on the surface from sudden changes in temperature. Do not remove dirt with sharp objects or sandpaper.

7

Try not to soak in the bathroom and wash, especially using bleaches. No need to put tanks and pots at the bottom of the bathtub; spots remain from them. If you still need to put these things on the bath, put a rag or wooden grate under them.

Useful advice

Get separate rags of good quality for plumbing, they will last a long time. You can use multi-colored fabrics, so you quickly remember which one to clean the toilet, bathroom and sinks.
