If you did not succeed in removing rust from the toilet, use hydrochloric acid. To do this, smear a couple of tablespoons of acid on a dry surface of the plumbing using a sponge or brush. After 15-20 minutes, thoroughly flush hydrochloric acid from the toilet with plenty of water. Work with acid only in rubber gloves and goggles.

Clean the faience or enameled toilet bowl with a 5% oxalic acid solution. Apply the product to the inside of the toilet, which is affected by rust. After half an hour, wipe the plumbing with a rag dipped in ammonia. Then rinse the toilet with clean water. There will be no trace of rust.

You can clean the enameled, marble or faience toilet from rust with the help of ammonia and hydrogen peroxide mixed in a ratio of 1: 9.
