Remove paint with a building hair dryer. If you have this tool, ask friends or rent it. Turn on the device and direct a stream of air to the surface to be cleaned. When the paint is hot, remove it with a metal spatula.

Use a grinder to remove old paint. Put on the nozzle in the form of a metal brush, turn on the tool and carefully treat the metal surface. When finished, sand the pipe or apply a special paint remover. This method has one drawback - a large amount of dust. Therefore, work in a well-ventilated area and with safety glasses.
