Examine the technical specifications of the coffee machine and find the right decalcifying agent.

Prepare a solution for cleaning the coffee maker. To do this, pour one liter of hot water into the tank of the unit and add the selected product in the proportion indicated by its manufacturer. Remove coffee from the filter and from the hopper.

Flush the hydraulic system of the coffee machine. To do this, turn on the coffee maker, open the hot water tap and pour 150 ml into a container prepared in advance. Then unplug the coffee maker. Without closing the hot water tap, wait 5-7 minutes for the cleaning agent to settle.

Repeat the hydraulic system cleaning cycle at least 4 times.

Turn on the hot water tap. Start the coffee program without draining the cleaning solution. If the coffee machine is a carob type or has a pulverizer in it, then it is not necessary to lay ground coffee. If the device is not equipped with a pulverizer, it is necessary to fill in coffee beans. You should be aware that drinking coffee prepared at this stage of cleaning is strictly prohibited. Repeat this process until all of the cleaning solution in the hopper is used.

Rinse the machine hopper thoroughly with clean water. Fill it to the maximum and repeat the whole process again using only clean cold water.

Rinse the coffee machine's working unit with running water at room temperature.

In order to start the self-cleaning process in coffee makers having this function, several steps must be done sequentially. Remove coffee from the hopper and coffee machine filter. Fill the unit with hot water and add a special cleaning agent. Pass some water through the tap. Turn on automatic cleaning. After the cycle is complete, rinse the unit thoroughly with running water.

If the model of the coffee machine is equipped with a removable brewing unit, you must rinse it thoroughly every time after preparing the drink using detergents. If you follow this simple rule, the need for descaling the coffee maker simply does not arise.
