There are three types of badges that indicate moisture resistance on vinyl wallpapers. A squared wave means the wallpaper is slightly moisture resistant. Wipe them with a damp cloth. Do not overdo it with water, and do not use cleaning agents at all. If two waves are shown in the square, your roll can be washed gently with the addition of detergents. Three waves mark the most moisture-resistant wallpaper - the so-called super-washable. They withstand the most "wet" and thorough processing. If a comb is drawn along with the waves in the square, then the wallpaper can be rubbed with a brush or a washing vacuum cleaner can be used.

Also, the ability to moisture resistance depends on the type of vinyl wallpaper. Such a variety as compact vinyl are considered the most moisture resistant. This is a flat surface wallpaper. They can be cleaned with a wet brush and detergents can be used. Just do not use acidic and abrasive powders and solutions. To clean the surface, it is enough to dissolve a small plaster, reptile skin or stone in water, cleaning with a damp cloth is enough. Do not rub too hard so as not to damage the top coat.

Silk-screen wallpaper - elastic, with silk threads and vinyl threads in the upper layer and a paper base, as well as a variety such as thick vinyl, are also very resistant to water washing and abrasion. Therefore, it is quite possible to handle them with a brush and plenty of soap and water. Typically, these rolls are marked with three waves.

Vinyl wallpapers with a pronounced texture - foamed-vinyl or silk-screen - can be cleaned with a washing vacuum cleaner. This will be enough to remove dust and dirt that has accumulated in the relief of the wallpaper.
