Tea is an insidious drink. It seems that after drinking tea, the dishes do not need to be washed thoroughly, it is enough to rinse - and as a result the walls of the cup quickly darken. Tea plaque can also be cleaned with ordinary dishwashing liquid - but you will have to make an effort to carefully wipe the darkening with a sponge. And you can use proven home remedies.

Instruction manual
1
You can wash cups from plaque with drinking soda or salt. Fine salt is best chosen for fine grinding: large crystals can leave noticeable scratches on the cup walls. Rinse the cup, pour a little salt or soda on the dishwashing sponge and thoroughly wipe the damp dishes, then rinse with clean water. Tea plaque usually departs the first time, but if there is a darkening somewhere, you will have to repeat the operation, this time aiming at the contaminated areas. It is better to work with gloves: prolonged contact with soda or salt is not good for the skin of the hands.
2
You can get rid of dark plaque with citric acid. This method will save energy when it comes to heavily soiled cups or a teapot that is difficult to wipe properly from the inside. Pour a teaspoon of citric acid into the bottom of the dish and fill it with hot water. Leave on for 15-20 minutes, then wash with a sponge.
3
Another remedy that will help cleanse tea plaque is vinegar. Wipe the contaminated area with vinegar and let it sit for 15-20 minutes, then rinse the cup thoroughly with dishwashing detergent. Instead of vinegar, you can also use lemon juice: wipe the cups from the inside with half a lemon, squeezing it a little for better juice separation, wait until the cups brighten and wash. After such an operation, the cup will also find its original whiteness.

Small items covered with tea plaque (for example, lids from teapots, teaspoons and strainers, teaspoons) can be cleaned by immersing in a hot soda solution. Dissolve the soda in freshly boiled water (about 3 liters of liquid - about half a pack of soda), place the dishes there and leave to cool.
