Before putting pepper in jars, it is thoroughly washed, cut into strips, stalks and seeds are removed. Prepared jars are filled with chopped pepper, spices and seasonings are added, poured with marinade and rolled up.

Another option for the preparation of pickled peppers involves preliminary heat treatment. You need to take 6 kg of sweet pepper, cut in half and boil in a boiling marinade for 4 minutes. For marinade, 1 glass of 9% vinegar, 0.5 l of vegetable oil, 50 g of granulated sugar and 4 tablespoons of salt should be dissolved in 1 liter of water. You can add bay leaf and peppercorns to the marinade to taste.

Pepper must be placed in sterilized jars and sprinkled with chopped herbs, then sterilized jars for 10 minutes and roll up.

Canned whole peppers

Very often, housewives roll up the whole pepper, and in the winter they stuff it and cook all kinds of delicious dishes. To stock up on cooked peppers for the winter, you need to choose strong, meaty vegetables, wash and remove the stalks and seeds from them.

For the preparation of canned whole peppers according to one of the popular recipes, 4 kg of these vegetables will be required. In an enameled pan you need to pour 4 liters of water and add 2 tbsp. l salt, 1 cup sugar, a glass of 6% vinegar, 0.5 cup vegetable oil, peppercorns and bay leaf. The pan with the marinade must be put on fire and wait for it to boil. In boiling marinade, put pepper and boil for 4 minutes. After this, the pepper should be carefully folded into prepared jars and immediately rolled up. Banks need to be turned upside down, wrapped and left until completely cooled.
