  • - potassium permanganate;

  • - vinegar;

  • - hydrogen peroxide;

  • - dishwashing liquid;

  • - alcohol;

  • - soda.

Instruction manual

1

If the stain is completely fresh, then getting rid of it will be quite simple. Grate some laundry soap and mix the chips with warm water. Put the resulting slurry on the sofa and leave for several minutes until the fabric is saturated with soapy water. Remove the soap with a damp sponge.

2

Try cleaning the sofa with vodka or alcohol. To do this, moisten the contaminated area with liquid, rub a little and soak with a dry paper towel. You can also use strong black tea or a solution of soda.

3

A stronger odor can be eliminated with products that act as oxidizing agents. Add a little potassium permanganate to warm water and process the sofa with the resulting solution. After treatment, moisten the contaminated area with clean water. Instead of a solution of potassium permanganate, you can use a solution of iodine (at the rate of 15 drops of antiseptic per 500 ml of water) or 9% vinegar, half diluted with water.

4

Old spots and a stubborn smell will help to remove solutions consisting of several components. Mix 1 tsp. vinegar and 4 tablespoons water and apply the solution to the stain. Pour baking soda onto a contaminated area. Wait 15-20 minutes, then wipe the treated area with a damp cloth. If the odor could not be removed, then additionally treat the sofa with a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and dishwashing detergent. To do this, in a plastic dish, mix 100 ml of peroxide and a little dishwashing liquid. Apply the mixture to the stain for 10-20 minutes.

note

The use of some products can ruin the upholstery of the sofa, so check the effect of the product on a small area of the fabric.

Deodorizing and chlorine-based products only mask the smell.
