Find out and eliminate the cause of the increased humidity in the room, it may be worth repairing the seams on the outside of the house and checking the quality of ventilation. Dry the surface of the infected walls thoroughly with a blowtorch or heating devices, thereby stopping the spread of spores.

Before proceeding with the destruction of mold on the walls, it is necessary to start by cleaning the infected areas. Mold tends to penetrate into a deep layer of finishing material, so remove all layers of finish with a spatula, right down to the concrete slab or brick. The fungus has the ability to affect not only the finishing material, but also concrete structures, and if the wall is not completely cleaned, mold will soon make itself felt.

Thoroughly treat the mold lesion with antiseptic drugs that have antimicrobial and antifungal effects. Such products are well represented in all construction stores. Read carefully the instructions, which should indicate that this product is intended for disinfection of the inner surface of the house. In addition, the tool should not only remove mold, but also prevent its further occurrence.

After the systematic and phased destruction of mold, use only breathable materials or primers and paints that have antibacterial properties. Vinyl wallpapers are by no means the best solution for decorating a room in which there was mold.

In no case do not force the raw corners of the furniture, try not to put it close to the walls at all. Always leave a small space for air circulation. Ventilate the room more often (especially plastic windows are installed in it), thereby avoiding the formation of mold.
