How to get rid of a moth
Currently, at least thirty species of moths are known and the most common are the clothes and the kitchen. By the way, moths are not only butterflies that fly around the apartment, but also caterpillars and larvae. Flying individuals, by the way, are practically harmless, and the main danger lies precisely in the caterpillars and laid eggs.
Kitchen moth loves heat, lack of ventilation and high humidity. Her favorite foods are cereals, dried fruits and flour. In order to get rid of this type of moth, you need to throw out all the infected and damaged products, and carefully rinse the cabinet in which they were in a soap solution and clean water, and grease the cracks with ordinary table vinegar. After these procedures, the cabinet must be left open until it dries.
The woolen moth that lives in the closets and spoils our things spawns all year round. The caterpillars of this insect can withstand a drop in temperature to zero degrees and for quite a long time (up to a month) do without food.
The moth larvae cannot stand fresh air and sunlight. And if you want to protect your winter things sent for storage in cabinets, then things must be washed and cleaned. After cleaning, put the clothes in the covers and do not forget to put the anti-moth product there. If insects have already "encroached" on your things, treat the affected area with a dichlorvos-based preparation.
