Many do not even suspect what economic value this familiar item has. We throw out a banana peel, not knowing that it is almost indispensable in everyday life, in the garden and for medicinal purposes.
- Shoe polishing. The use of banana peel as a shoe polish is possible due to its high content of natural oils and wax. Just rub the leather shoes with the inside of the banana peel and wipe with a dry cloth.
- Polishing silver products. Grind the banana peel in a blender and add water until the toothpaste is thick. Polish silver with this mixture with a soft cloth. The black coating will disappear. Rinse and polish with a soft cloth to shine.
- Recover a CD or DVD disc. Rub the shiny side of the disc with the banana. And after 2 minutes - a banana peel. Soak a cloth in a glass cleaner and wipe off any remaining banana.
- Teeth whitening. After brushing your teeth, wipe them with the inside of the banana peel for 2 minutes. It is rich in calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium. Brush your teeth again. Repeat the procedure every day for at least 10 days.
- Healing burns and scratches. Enzymes of banana peel oils relieve pain from sunburn, scratches and abrasions. And also accelerate their healing. Also, a banana peel can be used for insect bites.
- Removal of splinter. Place a piece of banana peel on the inside with the white side where you cannot remove the splinter and glue it with a band-aid. In 24 hours, natural enzymes will stretch a splinter to the surface and heal the wound.
- Nutrition for the skin. A lot of nutrients, natural oils and enzymes will help your skin maintain a flowering appearance if you wipe your face, neck and hands with the inside of a banana peel once a day. We especially recommend doing this in the winter.
- Removal of warts. At night, apply a banana peel to the wart and glue it with a band-aid. Removal of different warts is required from a week to a month.
- Fertilizer. Using a banana peel as a fertilizer is very effective. A huge amount of nutrients and trace elements will help saturate the soil, easy rooting and rapid growth of plants. Cut the banana peel into pieces, spread around the plant (for example, rose bush) and sprinkle a little earth. Decaying gradually, the peel will release nutrients to the ground.
- A wonderful remedy for aphids. Cut the peel into small pieces and sprinkle with earth at a small distance from the plant. This will scare away the aphids.
