The main cause of mold on the walls is dampness. Before trying to remove mold stains from the walls, it is necessary to establish adequate ventilation of the room. For bathrooms, this question is especially acute, since without proper air circulation, mechanically eliminated mold has a chance to be on the walls again after some time.

After ensuring the ventilation of the room, you can proceed to the direct removal of mold from the walls. Wear rubber gloves and a respirator before use. You will also need a special tool that can effectively remove mold from the affected surface. One of such tools is the universal Domestos cleaning gel, its unique disinfecting formula allows you to successfully fight fungal spores and get rid of mold even in the most advanced cases.

Mold removal takes place in two stages: cleansing visible mold lesions and eliminating fungal spores. Free walls from wallpaper, panels, corners. If there are lesions on the plaster or paint, use a spatula or a wire brush to directly clean the walls of mold stains. With the deep penetration of the fungus, carefully remove the necessary layer of plaster, exposing clean places. Affected tile fungus joints must be cleaned to the base.

After cleaning the surface, clean open areas on the walls with Domestos cleaning gel. The use of a special tool will help to effectively remove fungal spores and prevent the subsequent appearance of mold spots.

The gel must be applied on a dry surface. Pour a small amount of the universal Domestos product on the sponge and evenly distribute the gel over the cleaned area, capturing a slightly adjacent area. To process the inter-tile joints, you can fill in a little gel at the beginning of the affected area and let the product itself drain along the cleaned joint. The gel texture of Domestos allows it to penetrate the most remote and inaccessible places, effectively destroying fungus and spores.

Leave the disinfectant on for 30-60 minutes. This time will be enough for the gel to cope with the remnants of fungal spores and finally remove the mold from the walls. After the required time, wipe the treated surface with a rag, removing the remnants of the product. Finally, the wall must be covered with deep penetration primer and plastered again.
