Fur with a long pile or very fluffy, it is necessary to clean carefully. To do this, sprinkle the fur with potato starch or talcum powder, rub it a little with your hands and shake well. White fur is also cleaned with starch - the product must be sprinkled evenly, crushed and well shaken.
Also, you can clean the fur at home using hair shampoos and special detergents for washing fabrics from woolen and silk fibers. Dissolve a tablespoon of any of the above in 200 ml of warm water. The resulting solution needs to be treated with a contaminated area of fur, and then repeatedly wiped with a cloth dampened with clean water, preventing the skin from getting wet under the fur. Dry the product after cleaning.
If the fur is simply dusty, then the following method will help to correct the situation. The fur product must be spread down on a wet cloth (sheet or towel) and knocked out slightly.
To return the whiteness over time to a yellowed fur product, it is possible with a solution of hydrogen peroxide. Dilute one teaspoon of 5% peroxide in a glass of water, adding a couple of drops of ammonia. Process the fur with the resulting compound, and then wipe it dry with a clean cloth.
A solution of ordinary salt and ammonia will help get rid of grease stains. Dissolve a teaspoon of alcohol and three teaspoons of salt in 500 ml of water. After treating the stain with this compound, it is necessary to wipe the cleaned area dry with a clean cloth.
