Steel pots have a long service life and a beautiful sheen. To ensure that your dishes are always clean and well maintained, you need to follow a few simple recommendations.

You will need

  • - dishwashing detergents;

  • - liquid soap;

  • - baking soda;

  • - table vinegar;

  • - salt;

  • - citrus juice.

Instruction manual

1

Wash the steel pan in warm water with a dishwashing detergent or liquid soap. Abrasive products are not recommended. From them, scratches appear on the surface of the dishes, luster and functionality are lost. Carefully study the composition - ammonia and bleaching agents adversely affect steel.

2

Apply a little dishwashing liquid to the damp foam sponge and clean the pan. Then rinse and dry the dishes with a towel to prevent the appearance of traces of water.

3

If food burns to the bottom of the pan, pour hot water and add a teaspoon of baking soda. Put on fire and bring to a boil. After 10 minutes, set the pan aside and wait for it to cool. Then wash the dishes in the usual way.

4

Hard water may form a white coating on the bottom of the pan. Pour some table vinegar and water. Boil for a few minutes and rinse under running water. To prevent limescale in the pan, add salt only after the liquid has boiled.

5

Steel pots are not recommended for washing in a dishwasher. But if the instructions say what is allowed, use the pre-soak mode.

6

To clean the steel pan from soot, use baking soda, dishwashing liquid or a wide range. If the carbon deposits cannot be cleaned, soak the pan in a warm soapy solution for a while.

7

If yellow or blue spots appear on the pan, clean it with a metal cleaner and polish it with a soft cloth.

Useful advice

Wash the steel pan thoroughly before first use.

To remove stickers from the manufacturer, use citrus juice or warm water.
