Garages from aerated concrete and foam concrete
These materials have a definite advantage over bricks and cinder blocks. Construction takes less time and effort. Due to their large size and light weight, aerated concrete and foam concrete are an excellent way to save budget. In addition, a garage of these materials will turn out not only durable, but also warm.
You can also say that the walls erected from them are smooth and do not require any additional decoration. However, it is worth remembering that aerated concrete is subject to destruction due to moisture frozen inside it. Therefore, it is necessary to apply a primer on it. And foam concrete does not need this operation.
Garages of logs and timber
Previously, it was not recommended to build garages from these materials. But with the advent of fireproof finishes and flame retardants, wood is also suitable for construction.
It is necessary to insulate the walls from the inside with a semi-rigid slab made of basalt wool, and then sheathe them with moisture-resistant glass magnesite or drywall.
The floor also needs to be surrounded with fireproof material, for example, expanded clay screed. On top of it you can stretch the power cable and fill it with a solution. Thus, the garage will be warm at any time of the year.
