Any house, including a wooden one, has its pros and cons. And yet, the advantages of such buildings are much greater. There are several popular materials from which modern wooden houses are built: profiled timber, glued timber, logs. The first differs from the second in that it is made of a single piece of wood, not canvases glued together.
Advantages of wooden houses
The most important advantage of wooden buildings is their environmental safety. Not only that, this building material is considered healthy. In particular, this applies to cedar, oak, birch. If we consider the characteristics of wood from the point of view of bioenergy, then it is perfectly suited for residential premises. The houses from it are warm, comfortable, with the right air exchange.
Buildings from timber and logs are quickly erected. These lumber has its own components (connecting elements), which allow you to accelerate the installation of walls and floors. Wooden houses are durable. If the beam and log in the production did not pass the processing of antiseptic and fire-retardant compounds, this work must be done independently. The thermal conductivity of the wood is low, which saves on the amount of insulation.
