The dream of a silent and executive robot who will vacuum, collect the scattered things and wash the dishes has finally come true. Robots cleaners have already been invented, designed and are working hard - however, each model has flaws that need to be addressed.
One of the best models is considered the Japanese robot housewife SmartPal V. He can tidy the apartment, putting things in place, wiping the dust and vacuuming. Thanks to the built-in microphone, he can even talk - hear and understand individual simple phrases (in Japanese), and also answer (also in Japanese).
He moves at a speed of an unhurried person, 3.6 km / h, the maximum weight that he can lift is 2 kg. He has 21 operating modes, and they need to be switched independently.
A more powerful robot from the Spanish company Pal Technology Robotics is called REEM-B. It moves even slower, about 1-1.5 km / h, but can lift loads weighing up to 12 kg. This robot cleaner is able to tidy up the house for 2 hours without recharging - this is a real record for such a model. He scans and arranges things in places, talks with a person, is well-versed in the apartment, drawing up and remembering a plan of the area.
A small ReadyBot robot housewife from an American company washes dishes perfectly. This is his main advantage, but, unfortunately, he can cope with only 30-50% of the homework available SmartPal V and REEM-B. He collects plates from the table, removes the remnants of food from them, loads them into the dishwasher, and wipes them off the table.
