When choosing a standard solution, you need to decide on a place that can be allocated under the bed. Everything hidden under the bed will be in sight. The podium for a bed easily solves all these problems - it can be used as shelves or drawers for storing things, or it can also combine these functions.
But this decision has its drawbacks. Firstly, the podium is usually mounted to the floor or to the wall, so it will be quite difficult to move. Secondly, to create a multifunctional recreation area, you will need to allocate a fairly large space. Both in length and in width, it should be at least 2-3 meters.
However, in small bedrooms the podium for a bed will pay off much better than an ordinary bulky bed. Having laid out bedspreads and pillows in oriental style on it, you can give the room an atmosphere of relaxation and bliss.
