He has one more significant advantage. It is very convenient to look after him. Faux fur products can be washed periodically.

Every faux fur fabric product must have a label or at least a label that indicates the washing conditions. Not all products can be washed, but in most cases it is possible. As a rule, products made of artificial fur are washed manually at a temperature of about 40 ° C using special or universal detergents. You can also use a washing machine if it has a gentle mode.

Before washing, clean the faux fur product. A vacuum cleaner with a soft brush is best suited for this purpose. Vacuum the entire product from the front and back.

Prepare a soap solution. You can use universal washing powder or high-quality laundry soap. Dampen a regular clothes brush in the solution and clean the product. Rinse the product with warm running water, then dry at room temperature. Do not dry faux fur on a steam heater or next to heaters.

On a product made of artificial fur, like on any other clothes, a wide variety of spots can appear. Typically, the collar and cuffs get dirty more than the rest. Moisten a rubber sponge in cleaned gasoline, squeeze it thoroughly and remove dirt. After this procedure, the thing must be aired. Preliminarily, it is better to test the effect of gasoline on a stealth area.

You will also need gasoline to remove grease stains. Mix it with an equal amount of starch. Coat the contaminated area with the mixture. Rub the composition properly. Let the product dry and remove the product with a brush. Repeat the procedure if necessary. Do not use gasoline to clean artificial astrakhan.

White products require special care, especially if they cannot be washed. Yellow spots often appear on them. Mix lemon juice with water in a 1: 1 ratio. Soak the brush in this composition and gently remove the yellowness.

Fur items that cannot be washed are often lined. In this case, it also has to be cleaned. Clean it with ammonia. You can also apply a mixture of this substance with denatured alcohol in a ratio of 1: 1.

Soak washable items in warm water with detergent for wool or silk. Make sure that the thing is completely immersed in water, but it is not very compressed. Hold the product in water for 15-30 minutes, then squeeze gently. It is best to wrap it in a cotton cloth and gently squeeze out the water. Do the same after rinsing. It is impossible to twist faux fur.

Hang the product on a coat hanger. Faux fur is usually not stretched, so drying on a horizontal surface is not necessary. Dry the product at room temperature.

Until the fur dries, nothing needs to be smoothed. You can only gently straighten the collar, cuffs and other details.
