Papasan - the so-called lounge chair made of rattan and with a huge soft round pillow. Unfortunately, the chair cushions do not have a removable cover and it’s very time consuming to wash them. Try to sew the Papasan chair cover yourself. Using textiles, you can easily diversify the interior and solve the problem of cleaning.
You will need
- - dense fabric;
- - lightning about 1 m;
- - pencil or soap;
- - scissors;
- - threads in fabric color;
- - sewing machine.

We measure our old Papasan pillow, as a rule, the diameter of such a pillow is 150 cm. We buy a fabric 150x300 cm in size, fold the material twice with the wrong side up and put the pillow from the chair to outline the contour.

It is convenient to outline the contour with a simple pencil if the fabric is light, or a soapy piece if it is dark in color. It is necessary to retreat a couple of centimeters from the circled contour and cut the fabric in a circle. We got two round parts that we have to sew together on a sewing machine.

It is most convenient to start by inserting a zipper, and then proceed to stitching the rest of the parts.

It is important not to forget to unfasten the zipper before making the final stitches, otherwise you will not be able to unscrew the cover for on the front side.
Useful advice
For fabric on the pillow, you can use old jeans, buy fabric in a curtain store. The latter option will be advantageous in price, since the length of such a fabric reaches three meters and you just need to buy only 152 cm of material.
The longer the zipper, the easier it will be to insert the pillow into the case.
