A salt solution is usually combined with the addition of acetic acid, increasing its cleaning effect. Liquid ammonia most often disinfects kitchen surfaces and rooms in which they smoke. Ethyl alcohol is not recommended for disinfection, since it negatively affects the appearance of most materials.
