Suede shoes are currently very popular among women. This is due to the fact that suede, unlike other materials, looks very original, stylish and expensive. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to protect suede boots from dirt. To keep them attractive for as long as possible, you need to learn how to wash them correctly.

Instruction manual

1

If the boots are very dirty, and special chemicals for the care of suede do not help. Thoroughly dissolve a small amount of washing powder in warm water. Take a clean viscose cloth and gently clean all dirt. After that, wipe the shoes first with a damp cloth and then dry. Fasten the boots and, having stuffed them inside with tightly crumpled newspapers, set to dry at room temperature away from the battery.

2

To remove stains from suede boots, use tools specially designed for this or a regular school eraser. Lightly rub the contaminated area with it. The eraser not only removes the stain, but also raises the pile, thereby refreshing the look of suede.

3

Make a soap solution and add a little ammonia in it in a ratio of 1: 5. Take a soft-brushed brush, dip it into the solution and carefully clean the boots. Apply a protective water-repellent spray on them, it must be absorbed into the shoes, so it is better to carry out this procedure in the evening.

4

You can get rid of shiny spots with a special solution. Dilute ammonia with plain water in a 1: 2 ratio. Put it on boots and then rinse with water. Wipe with a weak solution of vinegar (a teaspoon of essence in 1 liter of water) and leave to dry.

5

You can also wash suede boots from dirt with a special foam. Shake the bottle and hold it upright, apply a little foam on a clean sponge and clean it with your shoes. Wipe the suede thoroughly with a damp cloth, wait until it dries, and treat with special protective agents.

note

It is undesirable to wear suede boots in rainy weather, as spots may appear on them, which will be extremely difficult to get rid of.

Washing suede shoes is recommended only in extreme cases, when other cleaning methods do not help.

Useful advice

After drying the suede shoes, you can slightly raise the leather fibers with the crepe brush.
