Fans of natural fur are attracted by the relatively low cost of nutrice coats. They are warm and wear resistant outerwear. When buying a product from nutria fur, you should know how to properly care for and clean it. After all, this seemingly complicated procedure can be done at home without overpaying a lot of money for dry cleaning.

With prolonged wear of the product from the fur of nutria, the pile is tangled and the wool rolls into lumps. A tangled ball should be gently and leisurely spread out with your hands. Then hang the coat on the shoulders and comb out the felled fur with a massage brush, starting from the very edge and gradually penetrating deeper. After combing the fur product, check the integrity and strength of the leather fabric and only after that proceed to the immediate cleaning of the fur coat.

Neutral detergents for wool, gasoline or regular hair shampoo are quite suitable for cleaning nutria fur. Moisten a cosmetic disc or a piece of cotton wool in one of the listed products (diluted in a small amount of water) and put it on a stick comb, carefully comb all the fur in the direction of growth of the pile.

Nutria fur is cleaned with dry, hot sand. To do this, spread a fur product on a flat horizontal surface and sprinkle with heated sand, rub it with your palm. Shake off the dirty sand and pour clean, repeat the procedure until the fur coat is completely clean and the palm ceases to become dirty. Then shake the fur thoroughly and comb it with a brush.

Shaded areas on the cuffs and collar of the nutria fur product can be cleaned with gasoline (a means for refueling lighters is also suitable). Dampen a soft sponge or cosmetic disc in gasoline and thoroughly rub the contaminated areas in the direction of pile growth. Hang the fur on your shoulders and leave it in a well-ventilated place to eliminate odor.

To clean the nutria from pollution, you can use sawdust of hardwood trees. Lightly moisten the sawdust in gasoline and pour them into the basin (preferably enameled). Handle the fur product by hand over the basin. It is not recommended at the same time to rub the fur strongly and vigorously - this way you will only damage it. Repeat processing, replacing dirty filings with clean ones. Then shake the item and comb thoroughly.
