Vaneless fans are a new generation of fans that can be seen as an alternative to air conditioning. They appeared on the market in 2009, but managed to gain recognition from most buyers. At first glance, they seem too strange and fantastic, but if you look, the principle of operation of fans without blades is surprisingly simple, and in their characteristics they surpass even expensive similar blade units.

Bladeless fans operate as follows. Air is drawn in by a turbine, which is driven by an electric motor, directly into the fan base, accumulates in its cavity inside the frame, after which a powerful stream leaves the narrow slit of the metal ring and evenly bypasses the aerodynamic profile. At the same time, a low pressure region is created in the center of the ring, which draws in and creates a powerful continuous direct air flow, increased by 15 times at the outlet. In general, the whole process is similar to the operation of a jet engine of aircraft.

Features of bladeless fans:

  • Safety - one of the main advantages of such fans is complete safety. In ordinary fans, despite the protective grilles, there is still a high probability of injury to both the child and the pets.

  • An alternative to air conditioners - bladeless fans have become a serious competitor to air conditioners. Indeed, for example, one cannot catch a cold from such a fan or the installation is not connected with any difficulties.

  • Low power consumption - for new products among fanless fans, power consumption is 98% less than conventional ones, while the volume of moving air is about 10-20 times more.

  • It’s easy to clean - there are no grates and hard-to-reach parts, so cleaning is very easy and it doesn’t take much time.

  • Design and style - fanless fans can be found in different colors and cases, which will fit into any interior both at home and in the office.

  • Low noise - the operation of the fanless fan is almost silent, therefore it can be used even at night.

  • Large blowing area - floor models create a dense and continuous flow of air, unlike conventional blade fans, where the air simply accelerates and enters in uneven jerks over a short distance.

  • Convenience in management - most fanless fans are equipped with remote control, the set of which includes a remote control to control the air flow, rotation mode or on-off, without getting up. In addition, some models have the ability to magnetize the remote control to the body of the device, which reduces the risk of losing the remote control.

  • Additional functions - some of the models have additional functions, for example, ionize or heat the air, moisturize, and clean.

It should also be noted that bladeless fans are both in the floor and table versions.
