Earth fleas are parasites that can become a problem for owners of private houses and apartments located on the ground floors. The result of the proximity to these insects can be not only painful bites, from which traces remain. Fleas carry diseases that are dangerous to human health, such as plague, typhus, pseudotuberculosis and others.

What does the enemy look like

Earth flea is a wingless insect that can jump from a place to a meter high. This insect feeds exclusively on the blood of warm-blooded people, including humans. Therefore, if itchy redness appears on the legs, do not exclude the fact that these can be flea bites. To determine whether earthen fleas really settled in the dwelling, you need to try to catch the insect and compare it with images. The peculiarity of these insects is that they are not so easy to catch - they jump perfectly. Consider fleas as follows. If you spread white paper, cloth or a piece of whatman paper on the floor, then the fleas that live in the house will probably not take long.

Where do fleas live?

If a neighbor in the image of an earthen flea is found, you can be sure that he himself will not go anywhere. He needs to be evicted. To begin with, you should determine your favorite habitat. First of all, you need to consider that earthen fleas can occupy the entire territory of an apartment or house, but at a height of no higher than 1.5 meters from the floor. The most favorite flea habitats are: crevices and baseboards, rugs, beds, soft toys, a kitchen sink.
