The optimal length for the cage in which the quail will be kept is 35 cm. The height should be made about 30 cm, the width should be 70 cm. The drinking bowl and feeder should be attached externally. Think about the fact that you will often need to clean out bird droppings - on the basis of the cage you need to arrange a pallet that can be removed and shaken out of the contents.

Self-made quail cages should have a small gap so that the testicles can slide down it into the gutter. If it is assumed that the number of birds will gradually increase, over time, housing will need to be made large. You can make cells in several floors, but more than six tiers should not be done.
