Gas stoves are popular and ubiquitous. Their advantages are obvious - they quickly heat up the dishes during cooking, are undemanding to their quality, can work both from main gas and from gas cylinders. To use the gas stove was safe, you must follow the rules for its inclusion.

Before turning on the gas stove, make sure that the conductive pipe (also known as the gas hose) that supplies your stove with gas does not have any external damage that could cause gas to enter the air. Check that the valve on the gas supply pipe to your stove is fully raised. If a ball valve is installed on the pipe that blocks the flow of gas, its position should be parallel to the gas pipe.

Determine which relay matches the burner you need. Often when you turn on a new gas stove, it’s difficult to navigate, because on different stoves the power knobs can correspond to different burners. Pay attention to the explanatory diagram of the correspondence of handles and burners - usually it is located directly on the stove body.

If your stove is equipped with an electric ignition, read the instructions for using this function. Depending on the model of the plate, this system can be implemented in different ways. If there is a special electric ignition button on the stove body, to ignite the gas on the stove, you must press this button.

She will give a short electric charge to all four rings. You will only need to turn the relay to start the gas in one of the burners. Turn the relay, adjusting the flame to the size you need.

If there is no separate ignition knob, but the stove is equipped with this function, when switching on the gas, switch the relay on before turning it. An electric discharge will cause a spark only in the burner to which you are supplying gas. Wait for the fire to light and adjust the flame size by turning the relay slowly.

If your gas stove model does not have an electric ignition function, bring a lit match or stove lighter to the desired burner. At the moment when the match flame or spark from the discharge of the lighter is near the edge of the burner, turn the gas supply relay. As soon as the fire breaks out, remove your hand from the flame.

If your stove has a gas-burner control function, do not release the relay immediately after a flame. The gas control system responds to the temperature of the hotplate. If the temperature has not reached a certain value, i.e. the burner has not yet had time to warm up to the right degree, the gas control system regards this as a signal to stop the gas supply to the burner. It is recommended to wait a few seconds before releasing the gas switch.
