If the instructions say that the product can be washed off after 20 minutes after its application, then the concentration of active substances in it is increased.

If the name “prophylactic” is indicated in the name of the product, this means that it is pointless to use it when water stagnates. It can be poured exclusively into clean pipes, where it will do its job of preventing blockages - however, it is not possible to increase the frequency and time of use, and it is necessary to wash off the product with plenty of water.
You can also purchase special sprays for cleaning pipes from blockages, which perform the procedure using compressed gas inside the can. It creates a strong current in the clogged pipe, which knocks out the mud plug and demolishes all similar barriers in its path.
