With prolonged wear on knitted items, spools are formed that give the clothes an untidy look. There are several ways to get rid of pellets.

Straighten the knitwear with spools on a flat, solid surface and lock. This procedure must be carried out with any method of removing pellets.

Take an electric shaver, turn it on, and carefully cut the spools off the surface of the fabric. Move the device from top to bottom. Do not push the razor hard so as not to damage the fabric. Instead of the usual men's electric razor, you can use a special machine for cutting spools. She acts on the same principle.

Take a disposable blade or razor. Gently run them over the fabric, cutting off the spools. The blade should be moved against the direction of the villi on the fabric. Use extreme caution - this method of removing the spools can easily damage the fabric.

Cut a tape 30-40 cm long from the reel of wide tape. Press it firmly against the fabric and pull it toward you. Most spools should stay on the tape. Repeat this operation on another piece of fabric. Adhesive tape must be replaced as it becomes dirty.

Buy a piece of Velcro fastener at a needlework store. You will need only a part with small hooks. Attach it to the fabric, removing the spools. Please note that hooks can damage the structure of fine knitwear.
