Before washing, read the labels on the clothes, maybe some things can not be washed in the car. Check pockets and cuffs for foreign objects. In order that the loops do not deform during washing - sweep them. Turn things inside out, which will prevent the appearance of spools.

Get a suitable detergent recommended for wool products from the store. It should not contain enzymes and alkali that destroy the structure of the tissue. For elasticity and softness, use conditioner or other additives.

Select the desired washing mode for woolen fabrics, with a temperature of no more than 30 degrees. Spin should also be gentle, optimally about 600 rpm. High temperatures and high spin can cause your item to shrink a lot.

After washing, it is better to dry woolen things on a horizontal surface in a straightened form. If in the process the item shrinks, you can try to correct the situation by ironing through a damp cloth. In this case, you need to stretch the product in those places where it has decreased in size. After ironing, do not forget to dry thoroughly.

Minimize pre-soaking. A thing can stretch out and lose its original shape.
