Everyone has white things. And in the process of use and socks, a beautiful white color either "fades" and takes on a dirtyish tint, or simply turns yellow from the influence of any factors. It is possible and necessary to deal with this. The main thing is to know the correct technology for bleaching fabrics, depending on the type of bleach selected.
Chlorine bleaches
The most famous and oldest are chlorine-based bleaches. Even our mothers and grandmothers bleached linen tablecloths with chlorine. When using chlorine-containing products, it should be remembered that they have a very aggressive composition, which explains their actual effectiveness. Means with chlorine are strongly not recommended for whitening delicate and delicate fabrics. Their frequent use is also not recommended, since chlorine has a destructive effect on the structure of the fibers. The most optimal use of such a bleach a couple of times a year for linen or cotton fabrics and for removing stains on dense white denim or linen tablecloths.
In use, chlorine-containing bleach is applied directly to the stain and allowed to stand for half an hour before washing. For complex whitening, the recommended rate of the product is added to the washing water and washed at the highest temperature or boiling.
Oxygen bleaches
Oxygen bleaches are considered less effective, but also more sparing. They act on the principle of the release of active oxygen, which removes particles of extraneous impurities from the structure of tissue fibers. These bleaches do not cause irritation, do not spoil the fabric and are great for refreshing colors even for colored items.
Oxygen bleaches are effective at low water temperatures and pre-soaking. You do not need to rinse things, but you can immediately proceed to the subsequent washing. To prevent yellowing and color freshening, oxygen bleaches are added in small quantities at each wash.
