Adjustment of the refrigerator door occurs for various reasons. Over the years, the door may skew. This is facilitated by overloading it with heavy products. There is a need to outweigh the refrigerator door, both in the process of repairing it, and when moving kitchen furniture. In each case, you cannot do without adjusting the refrigerator doors.

- - self-tapping screws;
- - probe made of non-magnetic material;
- - a sheet of paper with a width of 30-50 mm, a thickness of 0.1 mm.

Do not fill the refrigerator door to the eyeballs, otherwise the skew of the door is guaranteed to you. Heavy jars of pickles and jams have no place on the shelves of the refrigerator door. Take a look at the lower and upper horizontal surfaces of the door. If the bracket holes are not broken, adjust the refrigerator doors.

To do this, loosen the mounting bolts of the upper and lower linkage. Then proceed on the basis of which part of the panel does not fit tightly to the refrigerator due to the skew of the door. If the upper half of the door does not fit well, remove one trim from under the upper hinge. Press the refrigerator door against the cabinet with your shoulder, tightening the screw. If the lower part of the door is loose, loosen the bolt of the lower hinge and pull one gasket out from under it. While applying force to the bottom of the door, tighten the screw.

Move the refrigerator door to the opposite side, if when inspecting the holes for mounting the brackets, find out that they are broken. There are whole threaded holes, the adjusted door will well adjoin the refrigerator cabinet. This eliminates the need to repair the refrigerator door. Proceed to repair the door if you find broken holes for mounting brackets, and you can’t hang the door to the other side. Remove the door and fasten the steel plate to the damaged plane using self-tapping screws. Prepare a hole for the axis of the bracket, install the door in its place with subsequent adjustment.

After hanging the door, check its tightness. This is done with a special non-magnetic probe or a narrow strip of paper. The door seal should hold this probe well. If it slides down under its own weight, then there is a gap. At this point, loosen the screws that secure the seal, place a strip of foam or a piece of cardboard. With a long service life, in order to prevent depressurization of the refrigerator, it is necessary to completely replace the rubber insulation. Next, check again the tightness of the insulation.

Loosen the mounting bolts, not unscrew them. Otherwise, you can drop the nuts inside the refrigerator.
