It is very convenient to cook on a gas stove - an open fire quickly warms up the dish; if necessary, the heating temperature can be adjusted. However, when using gas, do not forget that this is an explosive type of fuel. To minimize possible risks, gas stove manufacturers install a special device on their products - gas control.

The principle of operation of the device, called "gas control", is simple: in case of unintentional extinction of the flame, the mechanism shuts off the gas supply to the oven and burners. The presence of such a device ensures the impossibility of leakage of blue fuel.

Design

In technical terms, the device mechanism is also quite simple. The design includes an electromagnetic valve, a thermocouple, a wire. The first element is an integrated mechanism that is connected to the hotplate tap. When the thermocouple receives a signal indicating the presence of high temperature (you ignited the gas on the hotplate), the valve presses the hotplate and, as a result, it remains in the open position.

Thermocouple - two thin wires of different alloys, the ends of which are interconnected. The connection is a fused ball that can be hidden in a housing. When exposed to temperature, an electric current arises at the free ends of the thermocouple, which is supplied to the thermal valve. The thermocouple is installed exactly on the border of the fire, at the burner.
