With the onset of warm days, it is time for woolen sweaters, coats, fur coats and boots to go "on vacation". And the task of a good housewife is to make sure that after the summer "holidays" they were in excellent condition and again able to serve faithfully and warm in the cold.

Remove woolen clothes

Before sending warm clothes to cabinets and boxes, you need to take care of their cleanliness. Woolen products are good not only to wash, but also to “calcine” in the sun. And, of course, before you remove things, it is better to check whether you need to sew a button, darn, sew, so you will be sure in the fall that your favorite sweater or warm jacket is completely ready to wear.

For storage, the heavier things are folded down, and the lighter ones - up - so they are less deformed. To protect against moths, you can use dried orange peels, bags of dry herbs: juniper, lavender.

Take care of outerwear

Outerwear should also be washed or dry cleaned. Fur products can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner.

Outerwear, coats, sheepskin coats and jackets are stored in closed cabinets on the shoulders, buttoned on all buttons. A fur coat and other products made of natural fur cannot be stored in polyethylene. It is better to choose a paper or fabric bag for them, where to place the moth remedy.

Once a month, fur things need to take a “walk” for drying and airing. To do this, it is enough for a couple of days to get them out of the closet and leave them hanging freely in the room on their shoulders.
